RustyCoach Marchello was born and raised right here in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated from Green Valley High School in 1995. He was a four-year letterman, a three-time state placer (2nd place and two 3rd place finishes), a two-time Nevada National Team member (1993 and 1994), and a Southwestern Nationals place winner (6th).

RustyCoach Marchello attended Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio where he began his college wrestling career as a starter at the 125-pound weight class. His time in Ohio was short lived in that fair state. He transferred to Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado where he competed again at the 125-pound weight class for a total of two years. While there, he met his wife Meghann. They have two sons, Ryder and Micky.

RustyThe young Marchello family then headed to the Land of Enchantment - Hobbs, New Mexico. At Hobbs High, Marchello made his debut as head coach for the young Hobbs Eagle club program. He also attended College of the Southwest, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. In 2003, through numerous long distance phone calls and the encouragement of Coach Jeffries and Coach Garcia (including the entire front office staff), he was hired by Cimarron-Memorial as an English teacher and assistant wrestling coach.
