TimTim Jeffries was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He began wrestling with his five brothers at the age of ten under the instruction of his father, and continued wrestling in Oklahoma throughout Jr. High and High school, winning High School All-American status.
TimTim's wrestling success would continue when he was recruited to attend Arizona State University in Tempe. Tim packed his bags and spent the next five years at ASU earning him a spot as an All American at 150 pounds and becoming one of the top ten winning wrestlers in ASU history.
TimTim continued his training, qualifying twice to attend Olympic Training Camps and later coaching at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
TimOver the last 24 years, Tim has coached six State Championship teams, six State Runner-up teams, including eight consecutive Zone/Regional Titles in the Las Vegas Valley.
TimTim has been named Nevada State Coach of the Year six times and was the National Region 8 Coach of the Year in 1999. While the success of his teams consistently speaks to his love of wrestling, Tim has a great dedication to their academic success as well.
