MikeMike Garcia graduated from Holbrook High School in Holbrook, Arizona in 1975, but not before leaving his definitive mark on the wrestling community. As an Arizona State Champion, State Runner-up, and 3rd Place Finisher, Mike earned his place on the University of Northern Iowa Wrestling Team in Cedar Falls, Iowa. From there he returned to his Arizona roots, this time attending Phoenix College and earning his title as a Junior College All-American. MikeMike later transferred to the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he completed his education and was a standout on the Rebel Wrestling Team. His accomplishments include third and fourth place finishes at the NCAA Western Regionals. MikeMike has been coaching in the Las Vegas Valley for 24 years. He began his coaching career at Gorman High School, but later went to Las Vegas High School, replacing his long-time friend and current Co-Head Coach, Tim Jeffries. After four years in the Wildcat arena, Mike teamed up with Tim at Cimarron-Memorial, where as coaching mates they have acquired eight Zone/Regional Titles, four State Runner-up titles, and six Nevada State Championships in 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
